As a child I always enjoyed doodling with pencil or chalk hoping one day to be, a famous designer.

I'm a graduate, from Fashion Industries High School where I received skills in fashion art design and watercolor.  During my working years I studied at The City College of New York School of General Studies where I was awarded a certificate in painting, drawing, and charcoal.

Since retiring in 2001, I've proceeded with my childhood dream.   I'm currently studying art under Edward Bates of Deer Park.  Where I receive artistic direction in sketching, painting in watercolor and acrylic.  In recent years I broaden my skills to painting in oils on canvas.

Since 2003 I have been a member of the Long Island Black Artist Association.

My works have been exhibited at the Wydanch Public Library, the African American Museum of Hempstead, the Deer park Public Library, the Brentwood Public Library, the East Meadow Public Library, Weill Cornell Medical Library of New York, Town of Babylon, Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Shelter Rock, Mannasset, N.Y., Department of Motor Vehicles, and the Rongio Gallery of Brooklyn, N.Y.

In art and painting I have found joy, peace, and beauty in the world.  Enjoy.
